FOR WHO

This plan is for all swimmers who would like to lose weight in a responsible and sustainable way. Swimming is a full body sport where you work all your muscles and easy on the joints, which makes it a great sport when your goal is to lose weight! Since all our plans and workouts are scalable for all level swimmers, this weight loss plan is for novice swimmers, but also for advanced. However, we recommend swimmers that can't swim freestyle yet to start with our Freestyle Basics course.

WHAT TO EXPECT

This plan has two swim workouts each week. The workouts vary between high intensity fat burners, but also some lower intensity workouts for sustainable fat loss. It also includes weekly challenges and tips teaching you everything you need to know about a healthy diet and lifestyle choices to create lasting weight loss. On top of all that, this plan also includes swimming technique tips and drills so you will not only lose weight but improve your swimming technique at the same time! Average workouts for a pro level swimmer will be 3200 meters. This will be scaled down appropriately for advanced (2800 meters), intermediate (2400 meters) and novice level swimmers (2000 meters).

Each week focusses on certain food and diet tips, along with a swimming technique skill. 

Week 1-2: Calories & Satiety, Portion Control /  Body Position

Week 3-4: Fruits & Vegetables, Fibers / Body Rotation

Week 5-6: Protein, Hydration / Recovery & Hand Entry

Week 7-8: Fat, Sleep / Catch & Pull-through 

Week 9-10: Mindfull Eating, Meal Timing / Stroke Timing
